U型玻璃的強(qiáng)度與溫度的關(guān)系如何?

  低溫與高溫對(duì)玻璃強(qiáng)度的影響是不同的,一般認(rèn)為隨著溫度的升高會(huì)使缺限處積聚更多的應(yīng)變能,增加破裂的概率。當(dāng)溫度高于200℃時(shí),由于玻璃黏滯性流動(dòng)增加,使微裂紋的裂口鈍化,緩和了應(yīng)力作用,從而使玻璃強(qiáng)度加大。玻璃的使用溫度范圍較廣,溫度對(duì)玻璃強(qiáng)度影響的機(jī)理目前尚未探明,根據(jù)在零度(-273℃)至500℃范圍內(nèi)的測(cè)試,強(qiáng)度較低點(diǎn)位于200℃左右。

  這里還要講玻璃的熱穩(wěn)定性,即玻璃保持不破壞能經(jīng)受的非常大溫度差,也就是玻璃耐急冷急熱的溫度差。顯著膨脹系數(shù)越小,其熱穩(wěn)定性就越好,U型玻璃的Δt約110℃左右,換句話說(shuō)玻璃加熱到350℃時(shí),如果瞬時(shí)降至240℃時(shí)就會(huì)破裂。微晶玻璃因?yàn)榕蛎浵禂?shù)較高,所以其熱穩(wěn)定性也高。通常急熱時(shí),玻璃表面產(chǎn)生壓應(yīng)力不易壞,而急冷時(shí),玻璃表面產(chǎn)生張應(yīng)力就易壞。玻璃的熱穩(wěn)定性還與玻璃成分、制品厚度、是否淬過(guò)火等有關(guān)。
